Trump WILL be our President
It's been a long time since I have been proud of America. Each year our hatred, racism, and immorality grows stronger. Each year we get further and further from the country our founding fathers envisioned. And nothing in says that plainer than our 2016 Presidential election.
Ever since Trump's upset victory over Hillary, there have been some of the most hateful riots I've ever seen. There has been beatings, rape, and who knows what else. Why just last week, there was a young man gagged and mobbed in Chicago. Was it because he committed some big assault? No, it was because he voted Trump.
Look guys, I get it. You're disappointed. I myself was upset when he beat Ted Cruz in the primaries, but I didn't go out and mob people.
It's time for us to accept that Donald Trump will be our next president. Yes, he has some issues, and yes, he might not be the ideal president we hoped for, but he won fair and square, and it's time for us to learn to accept that
Starting tomorrow he will be our 45th president of the United States. And when that happens, he will be the man who makes some very important decisions in our future. Do we really want to be hoping that the man who can make-or- break our country fail? To quote tumblr: "Saying you want Donald Trump to fail, or be a bad president is like, getting on the Titanic and saying you want to hit the iceberg"
It's time that America stops acting like Luke Skywalker, and unites. The only way this Country will ever be "Great again" is if we set aside our differences, and learn to get along. Like The Avengers.
I'm not writing this post to criticize anyone, I'm writing this as a warning to all Americans. Stop the hatred, stop the criticism, and stop the # Not my president. Instead, of doing all those protests, find something you don't like about America and do something to change it.
That's all I've got for that rant. I apologize for not writing my usual Geekdomness posts, but considering its Inauguration tomorrow I figured this would be fitting.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the protests, or are you fed up with them like I am. Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
